This is the animal profiles section where you can find information regarding any animal that the Elmwood Park Zoo cares for on a daily basis. We have grouped animals into the five main categories: mammals, birds, retiles, amphibians, and arthropods. You can click on any of those links above to start your exploration of your favorite animal.

You can learn a lot from an animal. We have created animal profiles so people can come and find out facts like how a timber wolf eats or how bald eagles mate. Enjoy the exploration of the animals online and come into the zoo to see daily animal activities.
