Did you know that you can designate your United Way workplace program gifts to the Elmwood Park Zoo. Please use our Donor Choice Number 039879. Contributions made through the United Way support our over all operations and education programs here at the Zoo.

The Elmwood Park Zoo’s Annual Fund helps contribute to the general operations of the zoo. Funds collected through the Annual Fund help bridge the gap between the cost of operating a world premier zoo and the low admission prices and continue our mission; to foster an appreciation needs your support to continue day-to-day and year-to-year to advance discovery, understanding and stewardship of the natural world.

Through the Annual Fund, Elmwood Park Zoo supporters are asked to make regular annual gifts. These tax-deductible gifts are unrestricted-- they go to areas of greatest need within the Zoo. In addition, Annual Fund gifts are eligible for matching gifts from employers.

By contributing to our annual fund you distinguish yourself as a concerned citizen for the welfare of the natural world, and you ensure that the Zoo will continue to grow and serve our community for the benefit of generations to come. The interest and generosity of people like you have helped us become a national leader in the areas of conservation, animal welfare, and environmental education.

• The Annual Fund supports:
• Food for approximately 300 animals representing over 90 species
• Supplies and materials for our Animal Enrichment program
• Youth programs such Pre-K Camps, Girl and Boy Scout Camps, onsite educational programs and birthday parties
• General feeding, medical and care of our animals
• Outreach programs held at the Variety Club and other Montgomery
• County Non-Profits
• Help us continue to provide our animal residents with the best of habitats and our visitors with exceptional experiences
