Elmwood Park Zoo's 85th Anniversary 10am - 5pm

Come enjoy regular zoo activities as we celebrate our 85th anniversary. Beginning at 2:15pm a brief ceremony will be held about the history of Elmwood Park Zoo including a cook-out provided by Zone's Catering.

Member Appreciation Sunday 11am - 4pm

Elmwood Park Zoo members are encouraged to visit the Zoo today where they will receive special discounts on a selected item for that day, such as face painting, pony rides, and much more!

Wild Adventure Program, "Too Darn Hot!" 11am - 2pm

Some animals like the heat. Who takes a sunbath? How do others cool off? What do they do on hot days? Learn how temperature affects wildlife and how they adopt to their habitat. We will also share information on global warming and the effects of wildlife.

Elmwood Park Zoo's Membership Picnic 3pm - 7pm
(Members Only Event)

Elmwood Park Zoo invites members for a night of fun, games, food, animals and entertainment as a thank you for support all year long.

Panera Bread ZooSnooz Family Campout at Elmwood Park Zoo

Family overnight campouts at the zoo include live animal show, flashlight tour of the nocturnal animals, campfire with S'mores and a few surprises.

Campers must bring their own tent, sleeping bags, flashlight, and any other supplies needed. The Zoo provides dinner, snack, breakfast and fun.
