Group Visits to
Elmwood Park Zoo

The Zoo is the perfect place to bring a group! Whether it's a school field trip, a family outing, or a tour group, Elmwood Park Zoo has the perfect package to entertain and educate you!

Elmwood Park Zoo offers discounted admission to groups of 15 or more individuals. In order to qualify for this discount, all 15 guests must pay at the same time. The Zoo also offers an additional discount to tour and travel groups. In order to qualify for this rate, your visit must be pre-scheduled and pre-paid. Tour and travel groups receive one free guest with every 15 paid.

Rentals

Elmwood Park Zoo is an ideal venue for a corporate event, family reunion, political fundraiser, party, bar or bat mitzvah, or even a wedding! Imagine exchanging vows beneath a clear blue sky, framed by the majesty of bald eagles in an open-air habitat!  Rentals are available year-round, and special arrangements can be made upon request.

You can rent the entire Zoo after-hours for the private enjoyment of you and your group, or you can rent our event tent during operating hours or after the Zoo has closed!

Renting the Zoo entitles you and your visitors the the private use of your space, and includes tables and chairs for up to 200 visitors.  You may invite as many guests as you choose.  Zoo staff will provide set-up and clean-up for your tables; arrangements for any other set-up must be made on a case-by-case basis.  The Zoo will keep the Cougar Cafe and Lenore Weiss Nature Shop open for your guests upon request; we cannot provide catering services, but can recommend some preferred caterers. You may also use your  own caterer and the Zoo will accommodate them to the best of our ability.  Caterers must be licensed!  Zoo can also provide a list of preferred caterers!

Reservations should be made at least two weeks in advance.  A $300 deposit is required to reserve your rental, and will be credited toward your final bill.  In order to receive a deposit upon cancellation, rentals must be canceled at least three (3) weeks prior to the scheduled date.  Rentals are rain or shine; in the event of severe inclement weather, Elmwood Park Zoo reserves the right to cancel (with refund) or postpone any rental.
