Elmwood Park Zoo Summer Camp 2012
“Keeping Up With The Keepers”
Have you ever brushed a hedgehog?
Have you ever washed a snake?
Have you ever trained a porcupine?
Discover an adventure like no other at Elmwood Park Zoo’s 2012 Summer Camp!
Elmwood Park Zoo understands the importance of teaching children about wildlife and environmental conservation. Our summer camp program offers children a very unique experience.
Although our camps are all about fun, the real message is about being part of something much larger, and that the most important thing we can do to help save the planet is to have compassion and kindness for the other lives that live there. The campers get the message by engaging in activities that bring them closer to our zoo animals. And, the lessons they learn will stay with them for a lifetime.
Campers start their day at 9 a.m. and end at 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. A water bottle, camp t-shirt and tote bag are provided.
