The color of a canyon tree frog varies in color from tan to grey, but in the sunlight they can appear golden. When they jump, their bight yellow, inside hind legs become visible. The canyon tree frog’s skin allows it to completely blend into their surroundings. This camouflage technique allows the frog to stay put when predators are near.
