The collared lizard is also referred to as the eastern collared lizard or the Oklahoma collared lizard. Collared lizards are named after the collar-like bands on their neck and shoulders. These beautiful looking creatures can change color and patterns depending on the species and seasons. Collard lizards are fast and can run at speeds up to 16 miles per hour, on just its hind legs.
