About

The golfoduclean frog is larger than most poison frogs. It is a terrestrial (living on land) and diurnal (active during the day) frog. The golfodulcean frog has highly potent poisons in its skin, making it an extremely toxic creature. Its multi-colored body serves as a warning to predators that it is toxic and to stay away. Higher doses of the poison can cause serious pain, nausea, seizures and paralysis.
