Camp Elmwood – Adult Overnight Camp

Elmwood Park Zoo’s newest event, Camp Elmwood will bring hikers, campers, and adventure-seekers for an incredible overnight campout experience! Enjoy the classic camp favorites like music, games, and s’mores by the campfire. This unique outdoor event also features giraffe feedings, dinner, an open bar, and even yoga the next morning! Please note: this event is for adults 21+.

– Masks are currently required by the governor to be worn in both indoor and outdoor environments where a 6ft distance cannot be maintained. For the safety of yourself, guests, and zoo staff, masks are required to be worn: upon arrive and check in, at the bar/ordering drinks, during food service, and in restrooms and enclosed areas. Elmwood Park Zoo recommends masks to be worn the entirety of the event. – Hand sanitizer is available throughout the zoo and will be stationed at food and bar area. -After registration, please have all participants fill out a digital waiver before attending the event.


-Tent: only a standard two-person tent is permitted for a purchase of a group of two tickets, while groups of four are limited to
either 2 two-person tents or 1 standard four-person tent. (Maximum size of a two person tent is 31.5 square feet; Maximum size of a four person tent is 62.5 square feet) If you have any questions about your tent size please email

– Shoes/sandals must be worn at all times when exploring the zoo for health and safety reasons

Elmwood Park Zoo has the right to cancel, change, or postpone any program/event. Programs/events that have not met the minimum number of participants or registrations within the week of the event may be cancelled. In the event that the zoo cancels the program/event, ticket holders will be contacted directly and issued a full refund. If you, unfortunately, need to cancel your sleepover participation, refunds cannot be issued.
