International Vulture Awareness Day Celebration

This Saturday, September 5, we’re celebrating Vulture Awareness Day, an internationally recognized event that highlights the unique nature and plight of these ecologically vital yet highly misunderstood birds. Guests can witness one of two training sessions with our black vulture, Hoover. They’ll discover how amazing vultures are and even experience the power and beauty of a bird in flight!
Join us on Saturday, September 5th at 11am or 2pm in the Canopy Gardens Hall
These events are free with regular zoo admission, but REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Please note: only a limited amount of spots are available for each session.
