Safety Weekend

Attention all young heroes! Join us Saturday, October 12 and Sunday, October 13 from 12:00pm – 3:00pm as we learn all about safety and the heroes that serve our community!
This event is free to attend with zoo admission.
As always, First responders receive free zoo admission. Current police officers, firefighters, and EMT personnel must show valid credentials at the admission counter. Fire and police badges, identification cards, and responders in uniform are accepted only if accompanied by photo ID. Families attending the event with police officers, firefighters, and EMT personnel will receive a discounted admission rate of $5.00. Discounted family admission rate is only available at the gate.
Saturday, October 12 | 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Norristown Fire Department will present Fire Smart, a family-friendly day of consisting of activities to promote fire safety and prevention. Fire trucks will be available for kids to explore!
Sunday, October 13 | 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Norristown Police Department will be onsite with giveaways and vehicles!
Norristown residents (19401) can attend Safety Weekend for free*.
