Upon your arrival at check-in, you are required to present proof of your dog's last visit to the veterinarian (must be within 1 year), proof of heartworm medication/treatment, and proof of vaccination against Rabies, Canine Distemper Virus and Canine Parvovirus. You will not be admitted without these items.

I AGREE

Your dog must be on a leash or harness and an adult must be in control at all times. This includes dogs that arrive in carriers, bags or strollers. Leashes must be shorter than 6'. Retractable leashes are not permitted. Your dog must not cross the boundaries of any exhibit. All dogs should have a tag that includes owners' contact information. The following collars are NOT permitted: 1) Prong; 2) Choke; 3) Heavy Chain; 4) Shock; 5) Spike

If your dog is out of control and/or disruptive and you do not take action to correct the behavior, you will be asked to leave. Harassment, including excessive barking or aggression, will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave the Zoo immediately. If your dog is creating undue stress or unhealthy conditions for any of the Zoo’s animals you will be asked to leave. At no time may your dog be left unattended

For the safety of your dog and others, female dogs should not be in heat. We DO NOT allow puppies under 4 months or sick dogs and dogs with active injuries (ie. stitches, bandages, etc)

Balls and other toys that can be thrown are not allowed in the Zoo. Food for your dog is permitted but it is never permitted to be fed to Zoo animals

Elmwood Park Zoo does not assume responsibility, directly or indirectly, for any loss, damage, or injury to your dog or person. I hereby voluntarily release, forever discharge, and agree to indemnify and hold Elmwood Park Zoo from any and all claims, demands, or causes of actions, which are in any way connected with my participation in this event or my use of Elmwood Park Zoo’s equipment or facilities. By checking the box on the left and clicking the button below, I understand that I am at my own risk (and the risk of my dog). The agreement reflects the understanding of and agreement to all of the above conditions.
