Holiday Gift Guide

The holidays are right around the corner, so look no further than Elmwood Park Zoo for the perfect, meaningful gift. Our unique animal-themed gift ideas are sure to bring your loved ones joy, and they also support the quality care and conservation efforts we value at Elmwood Park Zoo!

Purchasing a yearly membership is one of the best ways to support the Zoo. You can also purchase a yearly membership for a gift, at any level. Members enjoy special year-round discounts on events and animal feedings, free admission, admission discounts on reciprocal zoos around the country, and discounts on other businesses in the community!

Our Gift Shop is located at the front of the Zoo and is packed with animal-themed toys and gifts, as well as exclusive Elmwood Park Zoo merchandise and apparel for the whole family! Zoo admission is required to enter the Gift Shop.

When you become a ZooParent, your donation directly supports the care and feeding of select animals at the zoo. Adoptions also provide funds to purchase unique toys, treats, and food—anything from crickets to hay bales! Packages include an animal plush, a fact sheet about your chosen animal, stickers, and more. A portion of your gift is tax deductible. Our adoption packages are the perfect gift for the animal lover in your life. This is also your last chance to grab one of our limited-Edition Centennial Adoptions!

Looking for that otterly perfect gift? Make a one-of-a-kind connection when you sign up for an exclusive otter feeding with our adorable river otter, Rocky. Or come face-to-face with our giraffe boys, Dhrouba, Gerald and Mokolo! All of our unique encounters bring guests closer to our animals and last longer than most visitors get to experience. The cost includes zoo admission, so you may enjoy the zoo before or after your experience.

Enjoy a delicious brunch buffet with your family and have your photo taken with jolly old Saint Nick during our Brunch with Santa! Space is limited so be sure to secure your spot!

Elmwood Park Zoo’s favorite family tradition, Wild Lights, returns this holiday season! With new lights and decorative attractions, and with more animals on exhibit, this year’s Wild Lights is sure to be brighter than ever! Each night of Wild Lights features live entertainment, unique animal encounters, performances, holiday music, and a chance to see Santa himself.
