Outdoor Workshops

This year, our hands-on cyber school and homeschool program is moving outdoors! Our Outdoor Workshops  will be utilizing the zoo’s natural spaces to deep dive into a variety of STEM-based learning and discovery topics. Our newly expanded program will continue to share the wonder of the natural world with animal greets and inquiry based learning. Students will learn about the environment and the animals that live there all while having a safe and engaging experience. Each class is a two-hour program and includes an up-close animal greet, a lesson, and a hands-on activity. Participants do not have to be a homeschool student to participate in this program, all learners ages 6-13 are welcome.

*Classes may include a brief indoor segment depending on the program. The indoor portion of the program will be inside a classroom where all students will be encouraged to socially distance and will last for no more than 30 minutes.
