Boy Scout

Cub Scout Day

Calling all Cub Scouts!

You and your packs can join us on Sunday, May 5th at 10:00 am for an afternoon full of hands-on educational workshops! In addition to workshops, packs will meet education animal ambassadors, learn more about animals, and complete a fun scavenger hunt as they self-tour around the zoo! This event is for Tigers (age 7) through Webelos (age 10).  All scouts will receive an Elmwood Park Zoo Badge at the end of the event.

Make your zoo stay extra special by adding on a scouts-only ZooSnooze overnight campout the night before the workshop starts on Sunday, or an excursion to our Treetop Adventures zip line park! Please note: There is an additional charge for the ZooSnooze add-on ($49.95) & a Treetop Adventures add-on (Cub Climb-$10.00, Quick Zip-$10.00). Any scouts that add on ZooSnooze or Treetop Adventures will receive a separate badge for each experience. Treetop Adventures requires an adult to accompany each child, either from the ground for the Cub Climb course, or in the trees for the Quick Zip course. See below for further Treetop Adventures requirements.

The event will be $13.95 per scout, chaperone, and leader attending the event. Participants in the aforementioned events must be part of a pack/troop. Any additional guests and siblings will not be able to attend the event, but are welcome to spend the day at the zoo instead for $10.95 per person.  This guest rate MUST be paid in advance, otherwise any adult or sibling attending the event who did not register for the discounted price must pay general admission upon arrival to the zoo.
