Elmwood Park Zoo is the perfect destination for groups looking to share a unique experience. Whether it’s a school field trip, family get together, company outing, or any other special occasion, we have just the right group program to educate and entertain you!
It is required that group trips be purchased 3 days in advance of your desired date, however we recommend a full 2 weeks in advance to help ensure availability. Groups must select a specific date for their visit among the available times entrance times of 9:30 am, 11 am and 1 pm. Payment is due at time of purchase. We recommend having your final party numbers as any additional tickets will need to be purchased at full price. Payments are non-refundable. Elmwood Park Zoo is open rain or shine and Group Visits cannot be rescheduled.
Group rates are not available for purchase at the door and all guests must be ticketed in advance.
Admission is non-refundable. Membership rates and discounts do not apply to groups.
Special Group Rates of $15.95 per Adult and $11.95 per Child are offered to groups of 15 or more individuals (ages 3 and up) from June 1, 2021 through September 6, 2021. Regular zoo admission rates apply during the remainder of year when the rates are reduced for all guests. *Special needs groups can book at the group rate without having 15 or more individuals!

20 Minute Program $100
Available for up to 40 attendees
Additional Attendees $50
Up to 15 attendees can be added to the original 40. Any number of attendees over the total of 55 would need to purchase their own separate 20 minute program due to the limited capacity of the Zoo Bowl Theater.

Giraffe Feedings $3.00 per ticket
(Everyone going on the feeding deck must have a ticket and children must be accompanied by a paying adult)
Carousel $3.00 per ticket
(Children under 42" must be accompanied by a responsible person 14 years of age or older and must ride on the inside row. Infants must be accompanied by a responsible person 14 years of age or older and must ride in a bench seat)

Zoo Brew Voucher $9.00 per voucher
Voucher covers one beverage of beer, wine, cocktail, or non-alcoholic.

Includes choice of one small ice cream or water ice.

Groups may bring in their own bagged lunches. The zoo does not have storage areas, so it is recommended that groups bring rolling bins to carry their lunches in. The zoo’s Calle Mae Pavilion provides covered open air space and picnic table-style seating for groups of all sizes. Guests may rent the whole pavilion or rent by half increments based on the size of their group and/or the pavilion’s availability. Rental payment is due at the time of space reservation and is subject to availability. Guests who do not wish to rent space in the Calle Mae Pavilion may find first-come first-served picnic table seating at various locations throughout the zoo. Learn more about renting the pavilion.
All groups arriving in buses MUST be booked in advance as a group.
Bus parking is available along Harding Blvd. and groups are given access to the zoo through our South Gate entrance.
