“First time ever at Elmwood; most definitely plan on visiting during normal zoo hours. We attended the Valentine’s Day adults only dinner and had an incredible evening! Dinner was delicious, drinks on point and staff was friendly. The whole evening was entertaining with tons of knowledge and humor. The animals were great and really seemed well cared for. This small zoo has personality and great staff who care about what they are doing.”

- Ash, PA

“Very nice zoo. A smaller zoo, but well worth the visit. Reasonable ticket prices, especially if taking the family. Free parking. Lots of area of interest for families with small children. There is a petty zoo and musical garden for younger children. But still very enjoyable for adults. Friendly animals and staff. Clean bathrooms. Would highly recommend a visit.”

- K, PA

“We hosted my son’s birthday party at the zoo. He and his friends were able to feed the animals and try the zip lining, all in the same day. It was the popular topic of conversation at his school that Monday.”

“My family and I love this zoo, we have a membership. It is a little smaller ( half the size but also half the price of admission) then some zoos but very family friendly and the staff was super nice and friendly. At anytime you could see a handler with a porcupine or bird or another animal just walking around and answering questions. My son loved that it our last visit they he could stand a few feet away from a bald eagle.”

- Jack, Montgomery County

“We love going to Elmwood Park Zoo. The staff is friendly & informative. My daughter adores having her face painted. It is great to have something close and affordable. We have a year pass and come often.”

- Margot, Montgomery County

“Since finding this gem I’ve never gone back to Philly Zoo. Very wholesome family oriented park. Everything is kid friendly and they dont push cash grabs activities. I brought my daughter into a bird exhibit where a bird gave us a ribbon. Admission was a donation of a dollar then 1 dollar to let them eat from your hand. Like come on go try it out!”
