Three Aksha Dance Performance
Join us in the ZooBowl Theater for a performance by the Three Aksha Dancers led by Viji Rao and the Three Aksha Music Ensemble led by Praveen D. Rao, with Ajay Warriar, Sahadev Balaji Ramji and Tehvarajah Mylvaganam.

World Otter Day
Join us as we celebrate World Otter Day on Monday, May 27th with Rocky and Arya! Guests can stop by their exhibit in the Wetlands from 12:00pm-3:00pm to learn some fun otter facts and listen to a special keeper chat at 2:30pm.

Chinese New Year Celebration
We’re kicking off the Year of the Rat with a Chinese New Year Celebration* on Saturday, January 25th from 12:00PM to 1:00PM! Enjoy an educational program, crafts, and live animal meet and greets featuring “animals of the zodiac”. You’ll also have the opportunity to try on our dragon mask.

Hanukkah Celebration
Join us as we celebrate Hanukkah at Elmwood Park Zoo! The fun begins at 12:00PM in the Trail of the Jaguar where guests will make themed crafts. You will also have the chance to meet an education animal. Following crafts, we will be lighting the menorah on The Eagle Deck.
