Girl Scout Day

Calling all Girl Scouts!

Join us on Sunday, October 6, from 11:00 am to 2:oo pm for an afternoon introduction to all of our scout workshops. You’ll learn what requirements our workshops cover, observe and meet some education animal ambassadors, participate in mini-workshops, and complete a fun scavenger hunt as you self-tour around the zoo! This event is for Daisy (age 5) through Cadettes (age 14). All scouts will receive an Elmwood Park Zoo Badge at the end of the event.

Event admission $13.95 per scout, chaperone, and scout leader. Participants are required be part of a pack/troop. Additional guests and siblings will not be able to attend the event, but can enjoy discounted zoo admission for $10.95 per person. Guests must preregister, otherwise any adult or sibling attending the event who did not register for the discounted price must the zoo’s full price admission upon arrival.

Make your zoo stay extra special by adding on ZooSnooze overnight campout the night before the workshop starts (October 5). Scouts will receive a dedicated ZooSnooze badge for their visit. The price is $49.95 per camper.

You can also add an excursion to our Treetop Adventures zip line park. A parent or guardian is required to accompany scouts in the trees on the Quick Zip course. A parent or guardian is required to follow scouts from the ground while they use the Cub Climb course. A waiver must be completed by all Treetop Adventures participants. Our Cub Climb course is for children that are at least 4 years old and are between 36″ and 60″ tall. Our Quick Zip course is a smaller portion of our Zoofari experience; it is for adults and children that are at least 54″ tall.
