PARKING
Entrance to the zoo’s parking lots is currently located at the corner of Johnson Highway and Harding Blvd. (click to view on Google Maps). Parking is free of charge. Please follow the directional signage onsite for the main entrance into the zoo. Handicap parking spaces are available just outside the zoo’s main entrance. Overflow parking is also available along Harding Blvd. past Coolidge Blvd. (click to view on Google Maps) and guests can enter through the Zoo’s South Gate. Please note, South Gate’s availability is seasonal. In the event that South Gate is closed, guests are required to enter through the Zoo’s main entrance.
SHUTTLE
Overflow parking is available at 1700 Markley Street (Logan Commerce Center). A shuttle bus service operates on weekends to pick up and drop off guests at the Logan Commerce Center, the Zoo’s main entrance, and an area in the Zoo’s upper parking lot. Pick up/drop off areas are designated by large white tents and signage, and the Shuttle is available to all Zoo’s guests. Please note: Shuttles do not run during inclement weather days.
DIRECTIONS
From the Northeast Extension/Points North (I-476)
Travel on I-476 S toward Philadelphia. Take exit 18 toward Norristown. Merge onto W Ridge Pike and travel 1.3 miles. Turn right onto Fairfield Road. After .5 miles continue onto E Fornance Street. Travel 1.5 miles and turn right onto Harding Blvd. Zoo entrance will be on the left.
From the PA Turnpike/Points East (I-276)
Travel on I-276 W toward Harrisburg. Take exit 20 to merge onto I-476 S toward Philadelphia/Chester. After 1.7 miles take exit 18 toward Norristown. Merge onto W Ridge Pike and travel 1.3 miles. Turn right onto Fairfield Road. After .5 miles continue onto E Fornance Street. Travel 1.5 miles and turn right onto Harding Blvd. Zoo entrance will be on the left.
From the Blue Route/Points South (I-476)
Travel on I-476 N toward Plymouth Meeting. Take exit 18B toward Norristown. Merge onto Chemical Road, travel .1 miles and turn right onto W Ridge Pike. Travel 1.3 miles and turn right onto Fairfield Road. After .5 miles continue onto E
Fornance Street. Travel 1.5 miles and turn right onto Harding Blvd. Zoo entrance will be on the left.
From PA Turnpike/Points West (I-76)
Travel on I-76 E toward US-202/I-476/Philadelphia/Valley Forge. Take exit 328B to merge onto US-202 N toward King of Prussia. Travel 4.0 miles and turn left onto Harding Blvd. Travel .7 miles and turn into zoo entrance on left.
From Philadelphia (I-76)
Travel on I-76 W toward Valley Forge. Take exit 329 for South Henderson Road N/South Gulph Road toward King of Prussia/Norristown. Turn slight right onto S Henderson Road. Travel 1.4 miles and turn right onto E Dekalb Pike. After .5 miles Dekalb turns into US-202 N/Markley Street. Travel 1.8 miles and turn left onto Harding Blvd.Travel .7 miles and turn into zoo entrance on left.
