Slide into excitement on a twenty-foot ice slide presented by KeyBank and crafted by the talented Ice Concepts. Meet our adorable animal ambassadors, take a spin on the carousel, and warm up by the fire while crafting a delicious s’more. Plus, for our guests 21 and older, indulge in drink specials to add a spirited touch to the winter festivities.

Valentine's Day just got cuter! For just $5.00 per person, you can have a one-on-one scritches-sesh with Shaggy and Scooby, our Mini Highland Cows.
This encounter is available in person from 12 PM - 2 PM during Winterfest Weekend. Registration is not required.

Great BAckyard Bird Count

Before the Zoo opens for Winterfest Weekend, join our educators for a FREE interactive program where you'll learn to identify and count local bird species to help scientists track bird migration patterns!
This program is FREE to attend; registration is required. This program runs from 9 AM - 10 AM inside the DC Classroom.

Our Policy: No refunds or rescheduling. Winterfest is a rain or shine event. Elmwood Park Zoo has the right to cancel, change, or postpone any program/event. In the event that the zoo cancels the program/event, ticket holders will be contacted directly.

During Winterfest, free zoo admission tickets, reciprocal discounts, Community Partner Passes, Corporate Partner Passes, and other coupons will not be accepted. All Winterfest tickets must be timed and dated for the event.
