Hay, pellets, and fresh vegetables.
Reproduction & Lifespan
Californian rabbits reach sexual maturity anywhere between 42 - 49 weeks. As with most rabbit species, they are prolific producers. The average californian rabbit lives for about 5 - 10 years.
Fantastic Fact
Californians get their coloring from a Ch gene, also known as the Himalayan gene. The colder the climate they reside in, the darker the points of the ears, nose, and feet. Our rabbit, Karl, came to us from the Montgomery County SPCA!
