Reports To: Guest Services Management Team
Schedule: Must be able to work at least 20 hours per week.
Must be able to work weekends, holidays and during school breaks. Schedule varies and is dependent on the event calendar, weather, and guest attendance. Due to the nature of the position, the majority of shifts will be on weekends.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Operate zoo concessions, including food and bar services
- Ensures a clean and sanitary work environment
- Is responsible for managing cash sales on a daily basis
- Responsible for setup, operation, and breakdown of event bars in accordance with the instructions provided by the Guest Services Management
- Responsible for enforcing alcohol management practices
- Providing excellent service to all guests in accordance with the standards of the department
Qualification Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Prior food service and/or bar experience required
- Cordial and personable demeanor
- Comfortability working under pressure, and with large crowds
- Proactive and capable of working effectively with minimal direction
- Comfortability working in a team, and helping others
- Meets the needs and expectations of the role, as per business needs
